Diane and David, along with their two daughters, Jennifer and Erin moved from Georgia to Ocala in 1992 to join a missions organization and Diane committed the next 7 years to the administrative area which serviced a number of missionaries in various countries. In addition, she traveled to Austria, Hungary, Romania and Nigeria on mission trips.
In 1992 God touched Diane’s heart for the orphaned children of Romania while she watched a 60 Minutes expose titled The Forgotten Children of Romania. Shortly after that time, she was invited to go to Romania to minister to the needs of these children. Since that initial trip she has returned to the Transylvania region every year, leading short-term teams. In addition, she has led teams to Trinidad, West Indies to hold Vacation Bible School programs nine times and, most recently, to Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica and Nicaragua.
Diane and David have been married since 1972. They have two daughters, five granddaughters, and one grandson.
