After his initial visit to Trinidad in 1992, David returned to Trinidad in 1997 and for 13 years conducted annual leadership conferences across the island. The venues ranged from Diego Martin (in the West), Arima, Port of Spain, Trincity (across the North), Caparo, Cunupia, Endeavor, Freeport, Welcome (Central), Penal, Ste. Madeline, Williamsville (in the South), and Point Fortin and Palo Seco (in the Deep South). Beginning in 2005, a conference in Tobago, the other island of this nation, was added.
For 9 years, beginning in the year 2000, David and Diane led teams to central Trinidad and conducted a Vacation Bible School program for pre-teen aged children. These programs attracted crowds of over 200 children in the villages of Charlieville, Cunupia and Endeavour.
